We needed to replace the apron and sidewalk parts of our driveway. Over the years, the roadway height and the deteriorating apron had caused damages to our cars , which bottomed out every time. Our general contractor, who is steadfast with high standards of construction, referred us to Paradigm. The company had completed many jobs for our contractor in the Berkeley, Oakland, and Piedmont areas. Sal arrived on time, listened to our concerns, measured the slope of the apron, and offered his solutions. Shortly after our meeting, Andrew in Sal's back office sent us the proposal. Both Sal and Andrew were knowledgeable of local ordinances and rules. Their experience certainly helped the project run smoothly. The crew came as scheduled, worked hard, and kept the job site clean. They were respectful of our property and behaved professionally. The concrete work turned out beautifully. No more bottoming out on the new apron! Thank you Sal, Andrew, and crew
Paradigm Concrete was delightful from the first phone call (returned on a weekend) to their returning on the day the cars were allowed back in the garage to ensure they would enter without scraping. The crew was respectful of our property and cleaned up beautifully each day. They even saw us carrying an awkward package to our cars and just carried out the second one. The purpose of our new driveway was so that our cars wouldn't scrape upon entry to the garage. They measured our cars and did an excellent job. They suggested a new drainage system that is superior to what we had and an unexpected bonus to having a new driveway. My husband and I already referred them to a neighbor with the same issue and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. We have received many compliments from our neighbors. Thank you Paradigm!
They did a great job in conjunction with an arborist to replace the sidewalk in front of our house that had been seriously warped by tree roots. It wasn't a city planted tree so in Oakland the responsibility falls to the owners. It's difficult to find any companies that will work on small jobs such as this.
